"The voices are great and the multilingual support that your
software has is wonderful... We will use CT Messenger for
this project and hopefully many more to follow. The support
has been excellent and we thank all of you very much!"

No more expensive and bulky hardware – CT Messenger 2.2 ™
provides a set of scriptable COM objects that enable a
Windows or Web application to bring important information to its user(s) in the
form of text pages, phone calls or SMS messages via any TAPI compliant hardware
including a voice modem or telephony card. Unlike other programs of this type,
CT Messenger uses software DSP algorithms for detecting the type of response
(busy, no answer, voice answer). CT Messenger software does not rely on the
answer detection capabilities of the underlying hardware, and it works with
inexpensive voice modems.
CT Messenger standard features include:
- Dialing-out over any TAPI compliant voice modem or telephony card
- Providing built-in call and page scheduling and processing
- Supporting software answer detection-identification (Busy, No Answer, Voice)
- Providing built-in automatic text-to-speech conversion
- Supporting unlimited call tree depth
- Processing 'one-message-to-many-phone-numbers' requests
- Merging pre-recorded voice files and text messages
- Recognizing buttons pressed by the recipient of the call
- Sending text messages to any pager or SMS-enabled cell phone using standard TAP or UCP protocol
- Generating detailed reports on calls made/canceled/failed and pages sent
- Using of several voice modems and/or telephony cards simultaneously
- Storing and manipulating pre-recorded voice files
- Using one calling and paging server by a number of intranet users concurrently
CT Messenger 2.2 new features include:
- Windows Server 2003 support
- New methods to easily build enhanced call
trees for multi-item notifications and phone surveys
- "Gather Digits" functionality that can be
used to obtain and verify multi-digit PIN codes,
SSNs, etc.
CT Messenger 2.2 with SP2 new features include:
- CT Messenger properly releases Speech engine when it's not in use
- CT Messenger is using default voice and voice speed settings in Speech
applet in Control Panel when Voice and Rate attributes are not specified
- Fixed a bug that prevented CT Messenger from working with AT&T Natural
Voices TTS V1.4
- CT Messenger 2.2 with SP2 is fully compatible with CT Messenger 2.2 and does not require
recompilation of your code.
Designed for flexible deployment, CT Messenger software uses the client-server philosophy.
The server part is called CT Messenger Server, and the client part – CT
Messenger Developer's Toolkit. An application uses easy-to-handle CT Messenger
Developer's Toolkit objects to create call or page requests (that contain call
time limits, phone list, call tree, etc.), submit the requests for execution,
and retrieve reports on requests executed, canceled, or failed. In order to
reduce the network traffic, CT Messenger software provides a mechanism for
storing pre-recorded voice files on CT Messenger Server. CT Messenger Server is
typically installed on a computer intended for scheduling and making calls
and/or sending pages, as well as generating call and page related reports. No
tricky DCOM-like network configuration is necessary as communication between
Client Side Application and CT Messenger Server is provided at the file level.
Both CT Messenger Server and CT Messenger Developer's Toolkit can be installed
on the same computer.
CT Messenger Server uses multiple threads to support the simultaneous usage of multiple TAPI
compliant devices at one server, so it does not require separate components for
thread management.
CT Messenger requires Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Server 2003.
