Today your alarm panel does the regular paging via a standard DVACS line AUTOMATICALLY. Alarm Station PC installed in your office and hooked up to a regular phone line will do the rest. It will continuously monitor the alarm panel’s status and, in a queue-like manner, send alpha numeric pages and make calls to up to ten recipients bringing them up to date information on the active alarms. What’s more, it allows putting alarms on hold via the web or a touch-tone phone. After an alarm is put on hold, the PC will automatically notify everybody who received the previous notifications that the situation is under control.

Friendly, simple, easy to use – if you have ever used an Internet browser, you know how to configure page and call recipients’ names and phone numbers, put alarms on hold, or retrieve alarm history reports including the handling history of each particular alarm.

Special steps have been taken towards increasing the reliability of the system. The watchdog will automatically reboot the computer in case of a failure of any kind. The phone line fault monitor hardware will launch a siren if the phone line gets cut or interrupted. More than one phone line can be by used if additional reliability is required.

Alarm Station PC can be installed up to 2000 ft away from the alarm panel. One single Category 5 cable is needed to connect Alarm Panel Interface to Alarm Station PC. Based on the latest Microsoft’s .Net technology, Alarm Station PC can be put on the Internet, accessed via the network locally or, via the dial-up, remotely.
